Job summary

Nexagen Networks seeks an Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) to support our on-site security program at the Frederick, MD location. You will work with the primary FSO to ensure NISP compliance, manage personnel security, and coordinate with government partners in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Current and Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Minimum of 3 years in industrial security or FSO-support within cleared DoD environment.
• Experience with security education, classified materials management, and security reviews.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site security officer and Office Manager at Nexagen’s Frederick, MD location.
• Ensure compliance with NISPOM Rule and DCSA directives.
• Manage personnel security processes including PCL, investigations, and eligibility monitoring.
• Maintain security platforms and conduct security briefings/debriefings.
• Oversee access control, visitor management, and Insider Threat Program activities.
