Job summary

Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC) seeks a full-time Painter to support Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth. The role covers interior/exterior painting, surface repairs, and refinishing to keep the facility in like-new condition.

You will read plans, use brushes, rollers, or spray guns, work from scaffolds or lifts, and follow OSHA safety rules. 40-hour weeks with evenings and weekends as events require.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as carpenter/painter in commercial buildings.
• Willingness to learn safety laws, codes and emergency procedures.
• Must have a Texas driver’s license.
• Willingness to learn CMMS.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Self-motivated; able to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external parties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and repaint sheetrock walls and ceilings.
• Repair wood trim, wainscoting, and cabinets; refinishing as needed.
• Apply primer and finish coats on interior and exterior surfaces.
• Read building plans and estimate materials; keep tools stocked.
• Work from scaffolds or lifts; observe safety guidelines.
