Job summary

LEGOLAND Florida is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our resort environment safe, comfortable, and reliable for employees, guests, and visitors. This hands-on role involves maintenance, repair, and facility support with a strong customer-service focus.

You will perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, troubleshoot issues, and assist with general upkeep, room setups, and event prep while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or general maintenance.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting a variety of facility equipment.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on building systems and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic facilities issues.
• Complete repairs to lighting, electrical fixtures, doors, hardware, furniture, and appliances.
• Assist with carpentry, painting, and general upkeep throughout the facility.
• Support with plumbing repairs, leaks, and fixtures.
• Maintain accurate work orders and asset information in the CMMS system.
• Support room setups and event preparation as needed.
• Respond to facility emergencies and safety hazards promptly.
