Job summary

LEGOLAND New York Resort is seeking a Utility Technician to maintain, repair, and install various facility systems under the facilities management team. You will perform preventative maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks, while ensuring safety and compliance with codes.

In this role you will operate basic tools, read blueprints, and attend trainings to stay updated on best practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of electromechanical systems, lighting, carpentry, and plumbing is required.
• HVAC experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and install equipment and systems under facilities management.
• Follow safety and maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Keep ride equipment and work areas clean and orderly.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety procedures.
• Operate basic machine tools and report equipment needs to supervisor.
• Attend trainings and department meetings to stay updated.
