Job summary

WellLife Network is seeking a facilities supervisor to reside on the property and oversee general building maintenance, grounds, and equipment in the Bronx, NY area. You will monitor trades, coordinate cleaners, and ensure safety and code compliance under the facilities manager's direction.

The role emphasizes supervision, inspections, and timely work order completion, with a focus on cost-efficient, high-quality service and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in building management / facilities management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; NY driver’s license.
• Computer skills, MS Office; excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate cleaner/porter activities; improve morale and productivity.
• Ensure site is in good repair and compliant with fire and life safety codes through inspections.
• Inform supervisor of unsafe conditions; recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in major repairs by providing direction and resources.
• Participate in training and staff meetings; manage work orders and scheduling.
• Coordinate vendor supervision and ensure OSHA and building/electrical codes compliance.
