Job summary

Spreetail is building an in-house Facilities Technician team to support warehouse operations across the United States. You will perform preventative maintenance on MHE, conveyors, and facility systems, respond to downtime events, and coordinate with vendors to keep operations safe and reliable.

You’ll manage asset registries and CMMS work orders, supervise on-site staff, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as industrial/facilities/maintenance tech in warehouse or similar
• Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing conveyors, MHE, and facility systems
• Formal technical education or certifications in conveyor repair and electrical/mechanical systems
• Strong working knowledge of MEP principles (mechanical/electrical/plumbing)
• Familiarity with CMMS platforms (Limble, MaintainX, UpKeep, Maximo, Fiix)
• Experience supervising contractors or temporary labor
• Experience in uptime-critical environments

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on MHE, conveyors, racking, and facility systems as per municipal code
• Diagnose equipment failures and respond to downtime events, coordinating on-site repairs and external vendors
• Serve as on-site facilities point of contact for warehouse leadership and support peak deployments
• Maintain asset registries for MHE, conveyance, racking, spare parts, and facility systems using CMMS
• Interface with third-party providers and oversee on-site support labor
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and OSHA requirements
