Job summary

Metro Services Group, a facilities engineering and maintenance provider, seeks a Facilities Engineering Manager for an on-site role in New York, NY. You will supervise daily operations of HVAC, electrical and life-safety systems, plan preventive and corrective maintenance, and coordinate with vendors and property managers to ensure compliant, efficient facilities.

Qualifications

Experience in facilities engineering and overseeing building systems.
Experience with facilities operations and FM for complex properties.
Proficiency in preventive maintenance planning and vendor coordination.
Knowledge of building codes, safety regs, and energy standards.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and collaboration with stakeholders.
Strong communication and teamwork with owners, managers, vendors and staff.
Ability to read technical drawings and use CMMS or similar tools.
Certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities
