Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is hiring an Operating Engineer for an on-site Nashville location. The role involves maintaining mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, with a Monday–Friday schedule and rotating on-call coverage.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot building systems, and support safety and tenant service requests. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in related trades, trade-school or equivalent training, and an EPA Universal CFC certification or plan to

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related work experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry.
• Trade school education, union training, military service or college is desirable.
• Universal CFC EPA certification or interest in achieving within first year (with JLL assistance).
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders up to 30 feet, and frequent bending, kneeling, lifting, or driving.
• This position does not provide visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned tasks such as painting, pressure washing, lighting maintenance, plumbing and HVAC service.
• Maintain the CMMS work order system daily and address tenant service requests.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections; respond to on-call/emergency situations.
• Troubleshoot building systems including electrical, DDC and pneumatic controls.
• Adhere to safety procedures and participate in ongoing training.
