Job summary

JLL is seeking a Business Services Workplace Facilities Maintenance Technician in Wayne, NJ. You will supervise daily operations and perform hands-on maintenance to ensure safe, functional work environments and smooth conference room setups for meetings and events.

The role emphasizes responsive maintenance, documentation, and coordination with teams to deliver exceptional workplace experiences. On-site, 1st shift, with compensation in the listed range.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant office support or facilities experience in a corporate or facilities management environment.
• Demonstrated handyman or maintenance skills in carpentry, light repairs, electrical or plumbing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a service mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn facility management/work order systems like Corrigo.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and reset conference rooms and meeting spaces according to layouts for meetings and events.
• Perform general maintenance tasks including routine repairs, light preventative maintenance, painting and small installations.
• Manage packages and mail distribution; ensure proper handling and delivery.
• Respond to maintenance requests and coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all facility services and work orders in management systems.
• Ensure workspaces and common areas are clean, safe and functional for daily operations.
