Job summary

W3Global in Ashland, VA seeks an FAA-certified A&P mechanic to perform inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting and servicing of general aviation aircraft. You will work on single and twin reciprocating engine aircraft, following FAA standards and company procedures.

The role emphasizes hands-on repairs, accurate logbook entries, and adherence to safety. On-site, full-time schedule with occasional overtime or weekend shifts required.

Qualifications

• FAA-licensed A&P required and valid.
• Experience performing aircraft inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and aircraft systems.
• Accurate maintenance documentation and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance inspections, including 100-hour inspections and annual inspections.
• Assist with regulatory compliance and inspection readiness.
• Troubleshoot and repair aircraft discrepancies and mechanical issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and general aircraft servicing.
• Complete work orders, maintenance records, logbook entries, and time sheets accurately.
• Maintain compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
• Coordinate parts requirements and communicate maintenance needs.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and hangar organization.
