Job summary

GAL AeroStaff Ltd. is seeking an experienced Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic with Inspection Authorization to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on flight school and general aviation aircraft in Chandler, AZ.

You will troubleshoot and repair aircraft, document work, and ensure compliance with FAA regulations. The role requires an active A&P license and IA, with 3+ years of GA maintenance experience.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of general aviation aircraft maintenance and inspection practices.
Ability to independently make airworthiness and return-to-service decisions.
Experience with FAA regulations (14 CFR Parts 43 and 91).
Active FAA A&P license with IA.
Experience maintaining Piper aircraft is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on flight school and general aviation aircraft.
Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and maintain company aircraft per data and FAA regulations.
Perform airworthiness inspections within the A&P license authority and IA.
Complete maintenance documentation and aircraft logbook entries.
Release aircraft for return to service within certification authority.
