Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced FAA-certified A&P Mechanic to perform maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repair on Cirrus and other piston-powered aircraft in Truckee, CA. The ideal candidate brings hands-on GA maintenance experience, with avionics and electrical troubleshooting skills preferred.

This on-site, permanent role offers the opportunity to work with Cirrus SR-series aircraft, read manuals and wiring diagrams, document work, and ensure compliance with FAA regulations.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P certificate required.
• Hands-on maintenance experience with piston/general aviation aircraft.
• Experience working on Cirrus SR-series (SR20/SR22) highly preferred.
• Avionics and electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Cirrus and other piston-powered aircraft.
• Inspect aircraft and components for wear, damage, corrosion, leaks.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and avionics-related issues.
• Assist with 100-hour and annual inspections as applicable.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure FAA-compliant documentation.
