Job summary

General Atomics Systems Integration, LLC (GA-SI) is seeking a skilled A&P technician to perform mechanical maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and training. The role involves on-site and travel duties, ensuring compliance with government and customer orders, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will work with powerplants and related components, develop procedures, and support asset availability with guidance from supervisors. Travel up to CONUS/OCONUS may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 5+ years aircraft mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant license may be required.
• Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS.
• Ability to work independently and with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervision in enforcing policies and procedures.
• Provide training and oversight to less experienced A&P specialists.
• Develop training programs.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Inspect powerplant and components per procedures and government orders.
• Review aircraft records for compliance.
• Troubleshoot and repair aircraft with guidance from senior staff.
