Job summary

George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School is seeking part-time Exam Proctors to assist with exam administration in Arlington, VA. This on-site role supports test security and smooth operation of exams for Scalia Law students.

Shifts run December 1–16, 2026 and April 26–May 11, 2027, up to 29 hours/week, with specific Monday–Friday and Saturday schedules. Candidates should have a high school diploma, strong communication, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Ability to work in a diverse environment and communicate clearly.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide instructions to test-takers.
• Ability to handle confidential information and maintain test security.

Responsibilities

• Administer tests and exams to Scalia Law students.
• Follow procedures to maintain test security and confidentiality.
• Provide instructions to test-takers and answer questions.
• Monitor the testing process for policy compliance.
• Report suspicious behavior or testing violations.
• Collect and return test materials to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate records related to testing and test-takers.
