Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Set Up/Tear Down Supervisor for the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls, SD. The role leads events setup/teardown activities, coordinates staffing, and enforces safety policies while ensuring timely, quality facility support.

You will supervise staff, plan tasks, and collaborate with department peers to deliver seamless event execution in a fast-paced venue environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years custodial or operational experience preferred.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Operations staff assigned to event setups, teardowns, custodial services, and facility support.
• Plan, assign, and monitor work assignments to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Coordinate venue setups based on event orders, diagrams, and equipment requirements.
• Oversee cleaning operations before, during, and after events, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, window cleaning, trash removal, and general facility upkeep.
• Enforce all company safety policies, including proper chemical handling and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) compliance.
• Ensure all equipment is operated safely, properly maintained, and stored appropriately.
• Submit maintenance work orders for repairs, damaged equipment, or facility issues.
• Collaborate with other department supervisors to ensure seamless event execution.
• Adjust staffing assignments and work priorities to meet changing operational and event demands.
• Assist with facility maintenance, snow removal, and other operational projects as assigned.
• Perform hands-on operational duties alongside team members when necessary to meet event deadlines and operational needs.
