Job summary

Legends Global in Sioux Falls, SD seeks a Set Up/Tear Down Supervisor to lead event operations. You will supervise the day-to-day activities of the operations staff during setups, teardowns, and facility conversions.

Strong leadership, planning, and communication are essential as you coordinate with other departments, ensure safety, and meet tight event deadlines. Evening, weekend, and holiday hours are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years custodial or operational experience preferred.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of Operations staff assigned to event setups, teardowns, custodial services, and facility support.
• Plan, assign, and monitor work to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Coordinate venue setups based on event orders, diagrams, and equipment requirements.
• Oversee cleaning operations before, during, and after events, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, window cleaning, trash removal, and general facility upkeep.
• Enforce all company safety policies, including proper chemical handling and SDS compliance.
• Submit maintenance work orders for repairs, damaged equipment, or facility issues.
• Collaborate with other department supervisors to ensure seamless event execution.
• Adjust staffing assignments and priorities to meet changing demands.
• Assist with facility maintenance, snow removal, and other operational projects.
