Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Service Technician to repair and recondition equipment at customer sites and profit centers. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical and plumbing issues, install new equipment, and provide assistance to customers resolving questions or problems.

The role involves on-site repairs, maintenance, and occasional installations, with emphasis on safety and quality. A high school diploma, English literacy, and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Solid understanding in repairing small electrical appliances.
• Willing to learn how to connect equipment to water sources, add lines and drainage when needed.
• Willing to learn working with copper, braided and PEX lines; 6 months to 1 year of related experience or vocational training.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Must have an acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license.
• Physical demands may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and extended walking/standing; PPE may be required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses problems and determines causes and corrective actions for equipment.
• Repairs or adjusts equipment to return it to working order.
• Cleans and maintains equipment on-site, including brewers and decanters.
• Documents work completed, including invoices and asset verification.
• Repairs and refurbishes equipment and maintains spare parts levels.
• Collects service data using mobile devices and reports.
• Maintains good relationships with customers to uphold Aramark image.
• Performs scheduled and unscheduled service activities, including emergency calls and installations.
• Keeps service area and vehicle clean and follows safety policies.
