Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Service Technician to repair and recondition equipment at profit centers and customer locations. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems, install equipment for accounts, and help customers resolve questions or issues regarding equipment.

The role involves traveling to customer sites, performing preventive maintenance, emergencies, and installations, while upholding safety standards and maintaining equipment and vehicles in good condition.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Solid understanding in repairing small electrical appliances.
• Must be willing to learn how to connect equipment to water sources, add additional lines and drainage when vital.
• Must be willing to learn how to work with copper, braided and pex lines. This skill is normally developed through six months to one year of experience in the equipment service operations or through vocational training.
• The ability to read and write in English is required.
• Must also possess effective communication and customer service skills.
• Incumbent must have an acceptable driving record and a qualified driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Investigate operating difficulties of equipment and diagnose problems.
• Repair or adjust equipment to restore working order.
• Maintain and clean equipment on location, including brewers.
• Document completed work, invoices, asset verification and customer documentation.
• Repair and refurbish equipment; maintain spare parts levels.
• Accurately collect work performed using a mobile device.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers to uphold company image.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities including emergency calls and installations.
• Keep the service area and vehicle clean and organized; follow safety guidelines.
