Job summary

The Service Technician at Aramark is responsible for repairing and reconditioning equipment in the profit center and/or customer locations. This includes installation of equipment for customer accounts and diagnostics of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems, with corrective action as needed.

The role also involves assisting customers with questions or issues, documenting service activities, maintaining equipment, and following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Strong electrical repair knowledge.
• Ability to read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Call on customers as assigned by the Service Manager or General Manager to investigate operating difficulties of equipment and diagnose problems.
• Make repairs or adjustments to equipment to return it to working order.
• Clean and maintain equipment on location, including exchanging decanters and cleaning brewers.
• Document service activities including verification of closing calls, invoice completion, and asset verification.
• Repair and refurbish equipment and maintain spare parts levels.
• Accurately record completed work on a company-provided mobile device.
• Maintain good relationships with customers to project a positive image of the company and product.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities including emergency calls, preventative maintenance, surveys, and installations.
• Keep the service area and vehicle clean and organized; follow safety guidelines and operate the vehicle safely.
• Complete weekly Driver Report and follow Fleet Manual guidelines.
• Follow all safety standards and policies set by manufacturers and the company.
