Job summary

Aramark seeks a Service Technician - SBE to repair and recondition equipment at profit centers and customer sites. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems and install equipment for customer accounts.

Strong communication is essential to resolve questions and maintain service standards. Responsibilities include on-site visits, preventive maintenance, documentation, and ensuring safety while keeping equipment operational.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Solid understanding in repairing small electrical appliances.
• Must be willing to learn how to connect equipment to water sources, add lines and drainage.
• Must be willing to work with copper, braided and pex lines; typically developed through six months to one year of experience or vocational training.
• The ability to read and write in English is required.
• Must possess effective communication and customer service skills.
• Incumbent must have an acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Calls on customers to investigate operating difficulties of equipment and diagnose causes.
• Makes repairs or adjustments to return equipment to working order.
• Cleans and maintains equipment on location and exchanges decanters and cleans brewers.
• Documents completed work, closes calls, and verifies assets.
• Repairs and refurbishes equipment and maintains spare parts levels.
• Accurately record work completed using company mobile devices.
• Maintain good relationships with customers to uphold the company image.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities including emergency calls, preventive maintenance, surveys, and installations.
• Keep the service area and vehicle clean and organized; follow safety guidelines and PPE usage.
• Complete weekly Driver Report and follow Fleet Manual guidelines.
• Follow all safety standards set by manufacturers and the company.
