Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a professional to provide hazardous and non-hazardous waste services at client facilities, ensuring compliance with state and federal environmental health and safety regulations. You will work under supervision or independently to complete scheduled projects, including packing, labeling, manifesting, and shipping waste per contract parameters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related science field.
• 2–4 years of industry experience and customer service preferred.
• OSHA 40-hour Hazwoper Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional image with clients by answering inquiries and suggesting solutions.
• Manage onsite hazardous and non-hazardous waste needs per the contract.
• Comply and enforce all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure completion and accuracy of all US DOT/EPA paperwork to expedite disposal of hazardous waste, as required.
• Operate and maintain all equipment in a safe manner to insure optimum efficiency and effectiveness to complete assigned projects in a timely manner.
• Knowledge and understanding of contract terms and ability to follow through on assignments.
• Other work related duties, as assigned.
