Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a site-based Waste Services Technician to provide on-site hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling in compliance with state and federal regulations. The role involves processing shipments, paperwork, and coordinating with clients to ensure safe, timely project completion.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with a BS in Chemistry preferred, and a 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• BS in Chemistry or related science preferred.
• Prior work experience in hazardous waste or related industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional image to clients and suggest solutions.
• Manage on-site hazardous and non-hazardous waste needs per contract.
• Comply with environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure completion of DOT/RCRA/EPA paperwork for disposal.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely to complete projects on time.
• Understand contract terms and follow through on assignments.
• Other duties as assigned.
