Clean Harbors in Queen City, AZ is seeking an Environmental Field Chemist (CleanPack Chemist) to handle, segregate, pack, and inspect chemical waste across customer sites. The role is entry level in management potential, with extensive training and opportunities for advancement within Clean Harbors.

You will work both indoors and outdoors, support HHW collections and lab moves, and interact directly with clients.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license required.
• CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsement within 6 months of employment.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Must pass background check, drug test, and physical.
• Respiratory protection standard compliance is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety are the top priority in all tasks on customer sites.
• Prepare packing lists, labels, manifests, and land disposal restriction notifications.
• Inspect staging, storage areas and drums for leaks and proper housekeeping.
• Segregate and package waste chemicals for disposal per regulations and policies.
• Conduct waste sampling and profiling as needed for new waste streams.
• Operate vehicle safely per DOT and company guidelines.
• Assist with lab packs at customer facilities and HHW collections.
