The role is hands-on, with design, prototyping, and mentoring responsibilities; requires US citizenship, a bachelor’s in engineering, 10+ years of experience, and government contracting expertise. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering leadership experience.
• Experience with government contracting, bids and proposals.
• Ability to estimate engineering statements of work and level of effort.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a diverse engineering team; lead from the front.
• Manage budgets, costs, and schedules for design assignments.
• Oversee new product development and production support changes (ECR/ECOs).
• Support proposals, technical write-ups, and quotes for Sales and BD.
• Ensure compliance with MIL and commercial standards for equipment design.
