Job summary

GovSG in Huntsville, AL, seeks an experienced Engineering Operations Lead to synchronize Targets Systems Engineering and manage high-tempo executive rhythms for DoD programs. This on-site role interfaces with MDA, prime contractors, and partners, coordinating governance, lifecycle documentation, and cross-directorate communications.

You will lead weekly staff meetings, executive updates, and milestone reviews while ensuring timely tasker closure and strict OPSEC for classified work.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance and ability to access SIPRNet.
• 10+ years in DoD/federal programs and DoD lifecycle documentation.
• Experience coordinating across multiple organizations and leadership briefings.

Responsibilities

• Lead executive engineering battle rhythm and briefings.
• Manage weekly DTTE staff and prepare leadership packages.
• Coordinate integration updates to MDA Directorate for Engineering.
• Prepare Directorate staff calls and status briefings.
• Track 30/60/90-day milestone reviews and summarize outcomes.
• Triage and drive closure for Congressional and OSD taskers.
• Handle Classified and Sensitive tasking with strict OPSEC.
