Job summary

Allied Universal Technology Services is seeking an Embedded Service Technician to serve as the on-site resource at a client location, performing service, maintenance, repair, diagnostics, and testing for electronic security systems.

The role covers access control, video surveillance, intrusion, and related systems, with responsibilities including troubleshooting, system upgrades, and commissioning. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Minimum of three (3) years in electronic security field.
• Minimum of two (2) years servicing enterprise access control and video systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service and maintenance for access control and video systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and test security equipment.
• Support system upgrades, firmware updates, and software patches.
• Document issues and work in ServiceNow.
• Interpret electrical schematics and CAD drawings for low-voltage work.
• Assist with commissioning and configuration changes as directed.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and company standards.
