Job summary

Otis Elevator Company is seeking a highly motivated New Equipment Project Manager in Fort Worth, TX to oversee coordination of multiple new equipment installations. You will ensure on-time, within-budget delivery with strict safety and quality standards, while satisfying customer expectations.

Responsibilities include coordinating from award to close, interfacing with owners, general contractors, and design professionals, and leading the project team to optimize cash flow and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of elevator project management and/or construction experience.
• Experience with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings.
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft software in technical environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure flawless execution of each project on schedule and within budget, meeting safety standards and customer expectations.
• Deliver first-in-class customer service and adhere to Otis’ Absolutes.
• Coordinate all contract activities from award to handover and financial close.
• Collaborate with Otis sales and field operations to ensure installation aligns with contract documents and scope.
• Provide regular updates to branch, regional, and senior leadership.
• Communicate with general contractors, owners, building managers, architects and authorities regarding design, preparations, and scheduling.
• Work with internal teams to ensure project success from financial and customer perspectives.
• Manage billing, payments, vendor loadups, RFIs, change orders, and cash flow optimization.
• Interpret construction contracts and modifications to determine cost changes.
• Read and review architectural and structural drawings.
• Analyze contingencies for estimates.
