Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified person as defined by EM 385-1-1 Section 11 A (General).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.
• Experience with CMMS software is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform major repairs, improvements and installation related to electrical/electronic systems.
• Install and repair electrical equipment (generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, conduit, etc.).
• Work from blueprints, drawings, layouts or specifications.
• Locate and diagnose trouble in electrical systems or equipment.
• Compute load requirements for wiring or equipment.
• Use electrician’s hand tools and test/measurement instruments.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned spaces and support maintenance team.
