Job summary

J&J Worldwide Services in Twentynine Palms, CA is seeking an experienced Electrician to install, repair, and maintain electrical and electronic systems. You will work from blueprints and specifications to ensure compliant installations and diagnose equipment faults.

Qualified candidates hold an apprenticeship or Journeyman/Master status, possess strong communication skills, and can lift 50 lbs. CMMS experience is preferred; safety and teamwork are emphasized in our maintenance group.

Qualifications

• Must be qualified as defined by EM 385-1-1 Section 11 A.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook required.
• Experience with CMMS software highly desired.
• Able to lift 50 lbs., squat, bend, stoop and kneel as needed.
• Able to work from blueprints, drawings, layouts or specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform major repairs, improvements and installations on electrical/electronic systems per licensing rules.
• Install and repair equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, and motors.
• Read blueprints and layouts to guide work and locate faults.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned spaces and support maintenance team as needed.
