Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled electrical installer for on-site work in the United States. You will perform installation and checkout of complex systems, following codes and drawings, while coordinating with prime electrical contractors and customers to ensure satisfaction.

You will mentor other electricians, provide cost estimates, and ensure safety and quality across projects. A journeyman license and ability to read drawings are required, with strong knowledge of local codes and

Qualifications

• Journeyman electrical license required.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Working knowledge of local codes as applied to controls.
• Able to work independently.
• Leadership skills to supervise electricians on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation and checkout on systems using codes and drawings.
• Develop positive interface with customers to ensure confidence and satisfaction.
• Provide work direction to others involved in electrical installation.
• Install raceways, cables and wiring to meet codes and customer requirements.
• Mount and terminate controls equipment; assist sales with estimates.
• Check wiring and terminations with test instruments; keep management informed.
• Complete paperwork and as-built drawings; provide feedback for changes.
