IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Auburn, Alabama is seeking a full-time QA/QC Coordinator to support project quality assurance activities and field inspections.

The role involves assisting in development of QA standards, identifying non-conformances, coordinating inspections and tests, tracking corrective actions, maintaining QA documentation, and reporting quality metrics while ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety policies.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' recent electrical (industrial or commercial) construction experience.
• Understanding of electrical construction standards, equipment, and installations.
• Data Center experience is preferred.
• Electrical Field experience preferred.
• Through knowledge of construction disciplines.
• Proficient knowledge of computer programs (Excel/Word).
• Strong communication (written/verbal), problem-solving, analytical, organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Successfully pass pre-employment background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assists in development of Quality Assurance standards and continuous improvement evaluations and revisions.
• Identifies non-conformances and issues corrective/preventive action reports.
• Monitors corrective actions and verifies closure of quality issues.
• Maintains accruate QA/QC documentation and records.
• Reports quality performance metrics to management.
• Coordinates inspections, tests, and audits at various project stages.
• Ensures compliance with project specifications, company standards, and applicable codes/regulations.
• Performs onsite inspections of equipment and installations.
• Proactively works with Project Team to ensure all installations are installed correctly the first time.
• Performs work onsite with the Project Team in performing all inspections and reports.
• Ensures compliance with all company and customer Safety policies and procedures.
