Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, a subsidiary of IES Holdings, seeks a full-time QA/QC Coordinator in Lithia Springs, GA. The role focuses on developing QA standards, detecting non-conformances, and driving corrective actions across projects.

You will monitor quality metrics, coordinate inspections and audits, and ensure compliance with specifications and safety policies while supporting project teams to achieve first-time quality installations.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' electrical (industrial or commercial) construction experience.
• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Understanding of electrical construction standards, equipment, and installations.
• Data Center experience is preferred.
• Electrical Field experience preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of computer programs (Excel/Word).
• Strong communication (written/verbal), problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and attention to detail skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing Quality Assurance standards and continuous improvement evaluations and revisions.
• Identify non-conformances and issue corrective/preventive action reports.
• Monitor corrective actions and verify closure of quality issues.
• Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation and records.
• Report quality performance metrics to management.
• Coordinate inspections, tests, and audits at various project stages.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, company standards, and applicable codes/regulations.
• Perform onsite inspections of equipment and installations.
• Work with Project Team to ensure installations are correct the first time.
• Perform work onsite with the Project Team in inspections and reports.
• Ensure compliance with all company and customer safety policies.
