Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Swedesboro, NJ, is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to maintain electrical and control systems in food manufacturing equipment. You will document systems, diagnose issues, and coordinate across shifts with Electro-Mechanics, sometimes working offsite for troubleshooting, while upholding GMP and safety standards.

Required: AS/AAS in Electrical Engineering or related, knowledge of Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi software, and ability to read

Qualifications

AS/AAS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
High school/military training and practical experience in related field.
Familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi software.
Ability to read electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and control systems design documentation.
Experience with preventive maintenance and PLC-based systems.

Responsibilities

Maintain documentation for electrical and control systems.
Diagnose and resolve electrical or control-related issues with technicians.
Coordinate Electro-Mechanics across shifts and provide training.
Perform preventive, scheduled, or corrective maintenance on process control systems.
Inspect equipment safely while operational and during downtime.
Keep accurate records of work orders and maintenance activities.
Occasionally support offsite troubleshooting and parts procurement.
