Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer I to contribute to avionics hardware development for spacecraft programs in Long Beach, CA. You will define requirements, design PCBA, perform testing, and support integration from prototype through production, with opportunities to test on-orbit.

You’ll work with diverse engineering teams and may be hired at Senior Electrical Engineer II level based on experience. Competitive compensation and stock portions are provided.

Qualifications

• Senior Electrical Engineer I level with hardware design experience.
• Candidate must hold a current Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Experience with space-grade electronics and FPGA/embedded software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop PCBA requirements and perform schematic capture.
• PCB layout and design verification testing.
• Collaborate across disciplines on spacecraft electrical hardware.
• Support production manufacturing as needed.
