Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies is seeking a Reliability Engineer to oversee site maintenance planning, MRO, and CBM personnel while driving Reliability-Centered Maintenance across the plant. You will develop and implement CMMS-based strategies, track MTBF, MTTR, PMP, and guide condition monitoring programs to reduce downtime and costs.

The role requires a BS in Engineering and 5+ years in reliability/maintenance within a manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, scheduling, MRO, and CBM personnel.
• Lead Reliability-Centered Maintenance analysis across the plant.
• Develop and implement maintenance and reliability strategies in CMMS.
• Define, track, and report plant reliability KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, PMP).
• Monitor condition monitoring, NDT, inspections, and wear patterns.
• Lead predictive technologies: vibration, ultrasonic, thermography, oil analysis.
• Perform equipment criticality analysis for spares strategy.
• Lead root-cause investigations and implement solutions.
• Analyze data to forecast risks and improve uptime, cost, safety.
• Support in establishing maintenance job plans and shutdowns.
• Troubleshoot equipment across production lines; cross-functional work.
• Develop, write, and review process documentation.
• Champion digitization and digital reliability tools.
• Lead capital projects to improve reliability.
• Develop lubrication and hydraulics improvement plans.
• Assist in Asset Register and Hierarchies.
• Wear PPE as required.

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, scheduling, MRO, and CBM personnel for the site
• Drive and conduct Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis across the plant
• Develop and implement maintenance and reliability strategies within Veolia's corporate Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Define, track, and report on plant reliability KPIs: Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), Planned Maintenance Percentage (PMP)
• Monitor and track key equipment reliability strategies, such as condition monitoring, equipment mapping, non-destructive testing (NDT), and visual inspections.
• Lead the implementation of predictive technologies, including vibration analysis, ultrasonic analysis, thermography, PdMA, oil analysis, corrosion detection, and dissolved gas analysis
• Perform & document equipment criticality analysis in support of an effective critical spares strategy
• Lead technical incident investigations through Root Cause Analysis (Cause Mapping/Fault Free Diagram/5Whys/Cost Benefit Analysis) and implementation of recommended solutions
• Analyze data to identify reliability trends, forecast risks, and drive improvements in equipment uptime, cost, and safety
• Support in establishing maintenance job plans including shutdowns/outages
• Apply technical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment/production issues across multiple production lines, working cross-functionally with operations, engineering, maintenance, etc.
• Develop, write, and review new process documentation
• Champion and lead the plant's shift toward digitization, owning the implementation of digital reliability tools and technologies
• Lead capital projects aimed at enhancing reliability
• Develop and implement a lubrication program effectiveness and the hydraulics improvement plan
• Support in developing the Asset Register and Hierarchies
• Ability and willingness to wear personal protective equipment, for example, safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes, as required

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Required

• B.S. degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field)
• 5+ years of experience as a Reliability Engineer, Operations Engineer, or Maintenance Engineer
• Experience working in a manufacturing facility

Preferred

• 7+ years of experience as a Reliability Engineer, Operations Engineer, or Maintenance Engineer
• Possession of a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (or similar) certification, such as MMP, CMRP, or CRE
• Lean manufacturing experience

Compensation

The compensation range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $108,000-$120,00 USD.
