Qualifications

• Education and experience as outlined in the job description for Cupertino Electric, Inc. including related construction knowledge.
• 3+ years of experience as a Project Engineer in electrical construction or related MEP experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of related experience, including supervising smaller projects.
• Strong MS Excel skills and familiarity with scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead team meetings and guide Project Engineers and Project Coordinators in partnership with the Project Manager and field team.
• Partner with scheduling to gather data to populate the CEI schedule.
• Identify cost impacts from RFIs, submittals, and design changes and notify promptly.
• Prices change orders consistently and for PM review.
• Manage close-out documents for projects.
• Coordinate commissioning activities with 3rd party and track open items.
• Maintain strong partnerships with vendors and subcontractors; coordinate material releases with the construction schedule.
