Job summary

McKinstry is seeking a Project Coordinator to join the Electrical Construction team on-site in Spokane, WA. The role focuses on project startup, administration, and closeout, coordinating reports, change orders, bid packages, and documentation while ensuring effective communication among stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will have strong organization, construction administration experience, and a collaborative mindset to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Three years of experience in an administrative function or business environment preferred.
• Prior construction administration experience preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Project; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete project reports and deliverables.
• Track change orders and prepare bid packages.
• Maintain project documentation and organize network per the PM’s request.
• Distribute documents to internal and external parties and assist with invoicing substantiation.
• Assist with labor tracking and forecasting and archiving of project records.
• Attend team meetings and publish minutes; communicate with Purchasing and outside vendors.
