Job summary

Alston Construction is seeking an EHS Coordinator for Pecos, TX to oversee the safety program on designated projects. You will train staff, enforce safety policies, and ensure OSHA compliance while supporting client relations and project success.

Responsibilities include developing safety training, conducting inspections, incident investigations, and coordinating with supervision and safety leadership to reduce risk on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 1–2 years of construction safety or environmental compliance experience.
• OSHA 30-hour Certification required; OSHA 500 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support safety culture on projects and sites.
• Plan, develop, and implement safety policies in line with OSHA rules.
• Conduct new-hire safety orientations within 5 business days.
• Review SSHPs and safety documents on site and ensure compliance.
• Lead safety trainings and coordinate corrective actions after incidents.
• Assist in incident investigations and liaise with safety leadership.
