Job summary

TAS Energy Inc. is seeking an EHS Coordinator to support the EHS Manager in administering the EHS program at floor level in the Houston area.

You will serve as the primary interface with floor personnel to ensure EHS goals are clearly communicated and achieved. You will collaborate with production leadership across shifts, conduct daily shop walks, and lead proactive safety initiatives, including JSAs and Behavior Based Safety programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of the OSHA 511 Training or equivalent.
• Possess or have the ability attend more specific and specialized training as recommended by EHS Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple TAS facilities within the Houston Area and address site specific needs.
• Collaborate with production leadership (day/night shift) and EHS coordinators across shifts and sites.
• Conduct daily shop walks.
• Promote Behavior Based Safety and observation cards, trend analysis, and The SAFE Way program.
• Work with Supervisors to develop effective JSAs.
• Stay updated on OSHA standards and regulatory guidance and advise on TAS EHS program updates.
• Perform periodic EHS risk assessments, safety inspections and audits, and implement corrective actions.
• Investigate and document work-related accidents, incidents, and near misses; ensure timely corrective measures.
• Conduct trainings when necessary and assist in incident management.
• Conduct safety meetings and assist in EHS report preparation.
• Other duties as assigned
