Job summary

TAS is seeking an EHS Coordinator in the Houston area to support the EHS Manager by administering the EHS program on a floor level and acting as the primary interface with floor personnel. The role focuses on communicating EHS goals and ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple TAS facilities within the Houston area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of OSHA 511 Training or equivalent.
• Ability to attend more specialized EHS training as recommended by EHS Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple TAS facilities in the Houston area and address site-specific needs.
• Collaborate with production leadership and EHS coordinators across shifts and sites.
• Conduct daily shop walkthroughs.
• Encourage hazard identification and participation in Safety programs.
• Develop effective Job Safety Analyses with Supervisors and Leads.
• Stay updated on OSHA/Regulatory guidance and advise on TAS EHS program updates.
• Perform periodic EHS risk assessments, inspections, and audits with corrective actions.
• Investigate and document work-related incidents and ensure preventive measures.
• Conduct trainings and safety meetings; assist in incident management and EHS reporting.
