Job summary

CortiCare is hiring EEG Technicians to perform routine EEGs, long-term EEG setup, and video ambulatory EEG testing. You will prepare patients, apply electrodes using the 10-20 system, calibrate equipment, and collect data for interpretation.

You will monitor recordings for pathology, ensure patient safety, and maintain equipment while complying with infection control and company policies. On-call rotations are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with EEG setup and recording using the 10-20 system.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot EEG equipment.
• Capable of maintaining infection control and patient safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine EEGs and long-term EEG setup.
• Monitor and document patient data, and assist with paperwork.
• Prepare patients and manage electrode placement and calibration.
• Transfer data to reading station and report issues as needed.
• Maintain EEG equipment and participate in on-call rotations.
