Job summary

BNED is seeking a Full-Time Customer Care Representative to join our inbound contact center in Columbia, MO. You will provide responsive service to private K–12 schools and higher education institutions via phone, chat, and email.

You will guide customers through digital materials, assist with deliveries and order placement, troubleshoot access issues, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve questions.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer service experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Familiarity with software, hardware, and operating systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe products.
• Strong knowledge of internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through accessing digital course materials and content.
• Troubleshoot digital product access issues and resolve delivery concerns.
• Create and manage support tickets to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
• Assist customers with website navigation and the online ordering process.
• Verify the availability of institutional funds where applicable.
• Research and provide accurate product information in internal systems.
