Job summary

AKIN seeks a Temporary Early Learning Support Specialist in Auburn, WA to provide confidential administrative support for supervisors and staff within an early learning program. The role requires strong organization, discretion, and data handling of PHI/CII.

From October 2026 to December 2026, duties include greeting families, enrollment screening, scheduling, data entry, billing, and coordinating volunteers. On-site requirement with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related work experience preferred.
• Proof of physical exam within past 12 months.
• Mantoux TB skin test required before start of employment.
• Proof of MMR vaccine or positive MMR titer.
• Criminal history background check with MERIT fingerprinting.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet families at center and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Answer routine inquiries and screen calls; coordinate schedules.
• Maintain confidential files and records; manage enrollment screening and waiting lists.
• Provide advanced word processing, data entry, and spreadsheet support.
• Assist with finance, billing, purchasing, and supply tracking.
• Support volunteers and coordinate meetings, workshops, and program activities.
• Input and track data using various software programs; ensure compliance with licensing.
• Assist in reporting, grant materials, and correspondence as needed.
