Job summary

Acentra Health is seeking an on-site Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Clinician to support a large government agency. The licensed clinician will deliver a full range of EAP services to employees, managers, and the employer organization.

Work schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM. Occasional travel within the region may be required; transportation or lodging, if approved, will be coordinated and reimbursed by Acentra Health.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license as a behavioral health clinician in NM (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCPC).
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in EAP/mental health.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention within EAP framework.
• Deliver trainings and psychoeducational presentations for employees and managers.
• Make referrals to treatment services as appropriate and ensure smooth transitions.
• Refer clients to community resources to support wellbeing.
• Maintain case records in accordance with policies and HIPAA rules.
• Collaborate with supervisors on clinical staffing and high‑risk cases.
• Manage a caseload and coordinate with local points of contact.
• Demonstrate professionalism and teamwork with account managers and staff.
• Ensure security of physical and private information.
