Job summary

Vincennes University seeks an IT adjunct faculty member for the Early College program at Ben Davis University High School in Indianapolis. The instructor will teach IT dual-credit courses such as Web Page Design and Introduction to Databases to Early College students on-site.

Courses run on M/W/F with fall and spring terms. The position requires face-to-face instruction and local candidate consideration only, with responsibilities including course preparation, assessment, and participation in

Qualifications

• :Bachelor's in IT/CS or related area plus relevant industry certifications or 2+ years of related industry experience.
• :Master's in IT/CS or MBA with IT focus or 5+ years related experience with a recognized certification.
• :Be approved as a Cisco Academy Instructor.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and assessment of IT courses (Web Page Design, Introduction to Databases, Advanced Web Page Design, or other IT courses).
• Prepare course materials per syllabi and Early College admin.
• Maintain instruction schedule (M, W, F).
• Attend adjunct meetings at year start, middle, and end.
• Participate in yearly professional development.
• Use learning management platforms for attendance/grades.
