Job summary

Vincennes University is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach Med Term (Medical Terminology) at the Ben Davis University High School site in Indianapolis. The instructor will deliver face-to-face instruction for Dual-Credit Med-Term courses within the Vincennes University Early College program.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, managing attendance and grades via LMS, and being available January through June for the agreed schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and/or certification in a Healthcare-related field + 7 years of related industry experience.
• Bachelor's Degree + 5 years related industry experience.
• All instructors must meet CAHIIM requirements and must have taken a college level med-term class that can be verified on the transcript.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective instruction and assessment of course objectives to Early College students in Med-Term and other courses.
• Prepare course materials for instruction and assessment as guided by syllabi and Admin.
• Be available from January to June for an instruction schedule.
• Attend adjunct meetings and participate in yearly professional development.
• Utilize LMS for attendance, grades, and related procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
