Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana is seeking Adjunct Faculty to deliver courses in alignment with program objectives and college policies. You will develop syllabi, plan lessons, prepare assignments and assessments, and manage student records with integrity.

Qualifications

• Must meet adjunct credentials: Master’s in IT or related field with IT coursework or 2+ years IT experience, plus teaching evidence.
• Strong working knowledge of current technologies relevant to information technology instruction.
• Demonstrated ability to engage students and implement active teaching strategies while complying with FERPA.

Responsibilities

• Delivers assigned classes in line with College policy and course objectives.
• Develops/maintains outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials.
• Maintains accurate student records, grades, and other requirements.
• Engages with students professionally and cooperatively; follows campus guidelines and safety procedures.
• Adapts instruction to diverse learning environments within FERPA and regulatory standards.
