Job summary

Sands Wall Systems, Inc. seeks a Taping Foreman to lead drywall finishing crews on residential and commercial projects in the Rapid City area. You will supervise performance, ensure quality workmanship, coordinate with the Taping Superintendent, and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities include on-site leadership, safety compliance, coordinating materials and equipment, and mentoring crew members to maintain production and craftsmanship standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Certifications and training to be completed within the first year of employment.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in drywall finishing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise drywall taping crews to ensure productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor progress to meet project deadlines.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and troubleshoot job site challenges.
• Maintain accountability for crew performance and workmanship.
• Inspect ongoing work to ensure it meets company and project standards.
• Identify deficiencies and ensure timely corrections.
• Coordinate manpower needs and workflow planning.
• Ensure proper materials, tools, and equipment are available on-site.
• Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies on-site.
