Job summary

LifeGift is seeking an In-House Donation System Specialist to build relationships, improve donation processes, and manage on-site workflow at one of our hospital partners in the Houston area. The role requires collaboration with hospital staff, travel within a designated region, and the ability to operate across non-traditional hours.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus 2+ years in OPO/healthcare, with strong communication and data analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or combined total of 5 years education and experience in healthcare, marketing, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of OPO or healthcare experience preferred; ability to interpret clinical information from medical charts.
• Experience in public speaking, sales/marketing, data analysis, and/or strategic planning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage with physicians, nurses and staff to facilitate organ/tissue donation and drive process improvements.
• Provide timely onsite responses to organ referrals in assigned hospital.
• Collaborate with Administrator-on-Call to determine suitability of referrals and next steps.
• Plan training and education on all aspects of the donation program for hospital staff.
