Job summary

LifeGift in The Woodlands, TX, seeks an In-House Donation System Specialist to build relationships and advance organ and tissue donation programs at partner hospitals. The role involves coordinating with physicians and staff, delivering training, and planning strategies to improve donor referrals while maintaining compassionate communication.

Candidates should have a BA and healthcare or marketing experience, with travel between hospitals and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Minimum of two years of OPO or healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience in public speaking, sales/marketing, data analysis, and/or strategic planning preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Engage physicians, nurses, and staff to facilitate organ/tissue donation and improve processes.
• Provide timely onsite responses to organ referrals in assigned hospital.
• Collaborate with Administrator-on-Call to determine donor suitability and next steps.
• Plan and deliver training on donation program for hospital staff to improve metrics.
• Develop compassionate approach for next-of-kin regarding donation.
• Travel between hospitals within a designated region; hours may vary.
